What is a Free Range Human? Lifestyle career advice with Marianne Cantwell

On this episode of Curiosity Cake podcast I talk to entrepreneur, career coach, author and TEDx speaker Marianne Cantwell. Marianne explains her approach to supporting people to find and develop a career (or careers!) which allow them to live the kind of lifestyle they dream about. This might be through creating your own bespoke career path, following a portfolio career or a changing career.

Through her coaching Marianne really focuses on the skills, talents and personalities of clients to help them identify the best career options to allow them to dream big while creating realistic paths to their desried lifestyle. It turned into a bit of a bestseller, and has been translated into over half a dozen languages. A new extended edition was released in 2019!

For the last 8+ years Marianne has run an online business, creating courses (and global online events) for thousands of people around this topic. This has allowed her to work fully online and travel around the world while doing it.

She is the founder of the Free Range Humans website and movement and a TEDx speaker. Her talk “The Hidden Power Of Not Always Fitting In” has close to half a million views and was named by Entrepreneur.com as one of the “Top 10 TED talks to watch to overcome fear of failure”.
